FAHRENHEIT Festival of Fire!

Saturday, September 30, 7:30 - 11:00 pm
(Rain or Shine!)

At the future site of LaSalle's Culture & Recreation Complex
(first driveway after Sandwich Secondary school -- approx. 7100 Malden Rd. in the Town of LaSalle)

 


Doors open at 7:30 pm.
BIG BURN starts at 9:00 pm (dusk)

Directions: From Windsor, take Huron Church Line to Malden Road; turn south onto Malden Road and watch for Fest entrance and signage at approx. 7100 Malden Rd. - just south of Sandwich Secondary School in the town of LaSalle, Ontario.

TIX only: $5 adults / $20 carload (max. 6 adults/car)
Kids under 10 FREE.
TIX available @ door day of event, or in advance @ Artcite Inc., 109 University Ave. W., Windsor

Continuing in Artcite's tradition of presenting truly entertaining (and memorable) entertainments, this special off-site event features

Kids Cartoons • Guest CJAM 91.5 fm DJs! • 3 hours of all-age fun!

Site opens @ 7:30 pm for kids' activities.

Featuring 10+ Fire Sculptures and/or Outdoor Artworks by the following artists:

Steve Daigle, Daniel Fornetran, Vincent Haleford, Ed Janzen, qtizaj kimmerly w/ Chris Mangin, Bryan Lane, Tony Mosna, Erma Roung, Ken Roung, Wayne Tousignant & Darren Stanley. Additional Artists TBA!

NOTE: BYO chair, blanket, bug spray, PLEASE! No Alcohol, coolers or glass bottles allowed on festival site.

FREE pre-fest activities: Artists will be on-site creating and installing works; the public is invited to drop in and watch the contstruction process on September 30th from Noon to 7:00pm. (If you are interested in learning more about fire sculpting by assisting the artists, please call Artcite in advance at 519-977-6564). Public Workshops: informal, process-oriented workshops will be offered explaining the process from creation to destruction, with a focus on fire safety.
